SXSW Interactive 2015 is getting closer by the day and whether you are attending the event or not, we’d like to ask you a favor.
Voting is now open and we’re hoping you’d cast your ballot for us. SXSW voting operates through the PanelPicker, a two-step online process that allows the SXSW community to have a voice in what sessions are scheduled at the SXSW Interactive Festival.
Go to the PanelPicker, create an account and get ready to vote now through Friday, September 5, 2014. Each voter can vote once per proposal, so invite your friends and family, too!
What’s our session? People with Disabilities can “Be There” Too
We’ll be answering the question, “How can the digital world help people with disabilities lead more fulfilling lives?” with the help of Henry Evans, a Technology Activist living with quadriplegia.
Via the Beam Smart Presence System, Henry will talk about how beaming into museums has allowed he and others who are home-bound with disabilities visit places which would be otherwise impossible for them to travel to.
Our Director of Marketing, Erin Rapacki, will finish the session off by taking the audience on a live tour of museums, and other locations, around the world.
